State bank of India (SBI) has recently decided to release SBI PO 2020 notification pdf for around 2200 vacancies in April 2020. State Bank of India is the leading bank of India and it is a dream of many candidates to be a part of this prestigious institution. Now that the golden opportunity is here, aspiring candidates wouldn’t want to miss out on their chance to join SBI.

According to the official SBI PO notification 2020, there are also some changes introduced in the examination pattern. After the release of notification, the registration process has already started to recruit candidates in SBI and its Associate banks. After joining the bank, candidates will be posted anywhere in India. To qualify for the interview, candidates must clear prelim and main examination. The final selection of the candidates will be based on merit.

SBI PO Recruitment 2020 – Expected Vacancies

SBI PO Recruitment Notification 2020 has not been announced yet. But last year a total of 2000 vacancies were released by SBI. It is expected that this year there will be a little rise in the number of SBI PO Vacancies.

SBI PO Recruitment 2020 – Expected Eligibility Criteria

 Age Criteria

  • Minimum Age – 21 years
  • Maximum Age – 30 years

Note – You should have been born not before 02.04.1989 and not after 01.04.1998 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualifications 

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Those who are in the Final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for the interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation exam.

SBI PO Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure

  • The written Online Examinations i.e Preliminary and Main will be conducted online.
  • If you clear both the stages then you will be called for Group exercise & Interview.
Preliminary Examination

SBI PO Prelims exam will be an objective type test for 100 marks and will be having 3 sections as given below

SBI PO Salary

  • Current Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments)
  • Pay Scale: 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020
  • Grade: Junior Management Grade Scale-I
  • Allowances: D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
  • Total Compensation: Total compensation per annum would be a minimum of ₹ 8.20 lacs and maximum of ₹ 13.08 lacs depending on the place of posting and other factors.
  • Other: SBI plans to offer, subject to necessary approvals, a SMART Compensation Package which would enable candidates a choice to monetize specific elements of the salary package.
